How do I find a carer?Families
Browse carers near you on Care World, see what each has shared, message them, then arrange care directly. Browsing carer profiles is free. Contacting a carer uses a contact pass — a one-off payment, never a subscription. Nothing is charged yet — contact passes are not switched on.
How much do I keep?Carers
Carers keep 90% of what they charge — Care World's platform fee is 10%. Set £20 an hour and you receive £18. No fee is charged yet — carer charging is not switched on. You agree your rate with the family and settle directly.
What should I add to my profile?Carers
Your headline, services, rate and photo, plus any documents you choose to share, and certificates of completion from the Library.
Can I cancel anytime? What happens if I do?Billing
Yes. Paid tiers are monthly or annual and you can cancel whenever you like — cancelling stops the next renewal and access normally continues to the end of the paid period. Your legal right to cancel within 14 days sits above our policy; the cancellation page has the details and the model cancellation form. Your records stay yours: cancelling a paid tier never deletes anything you've written.
How do I export or delete our information?Privacy
Email privacy@careworld.app and tell us what you want: you can ask to see what is kept (access), fix anything wrong (correction), stop or limit how it's used (objection), or delete it (erasure). Using your rights is normally free, and it will not get you or your family into trouble.
What does a carer's 'verified' label mean?Families
It means a specific check has been completed — for example identity or right-to-work — before two-way contact unlocks on Care World. A label never means we endorse or recommend someone: you stay in charge of your own checks, and you can request documents, a DBS certificate or references directly before you connect.
Are you a care provider?Privacy
No. Care Vault and Care World are software that help families and carers organise and find care. We don't provide, arrange or manage care ourselves.
What if something is wrong?Privacy
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent help that isn't an emergency, call NHS 111. To report a concern, email support@careworld.app and a real person will pick it up.
How does Care World work?Families
Care World is an introducer: it puts families and independent carers in front of each other, then steps back. Post what you need or go straight to browsing carers near you; read profiles written by the carers themselves and shortlist who feels right; connect to message, video-call or meet before you decide anything; then agree the schedule, the rate and the arrangement directly with the carer. Everything after the introduction is between you — Care World does not provide, manage or supervise the care.
What does Care World cost?Billing
Browsing carer profiles is free. Posting what you need is free too, and so is shortlisting. Contacting a carer uses a contact pass — a one-off payment, never a subscription. Nothing is charged yet — contact passes are not switched on. On the carer side: every carer tool — profile, appearing in search, applications and the business tools — is free. Carers keep 90% of what they charge — Care World's platform fee is 10%. Set £20 an hour and you receive £18. No fee is charged yet — carer charging is not switched on. Paid subscriptions live on Care Vault and the Library, never here.
Is my data private on Care World?Privacy
Chronix Health Group Ltd is the controller for Care World. Families and carers see each other's information as the introduction requires, and a carer's evidence and references are shown only with that carer's consent. Data is resident in the UK/EU. You can ask to see what is held, correct it, restrict how it is used or have it deleted — email privacy@careworld.app. Care World holds no care records: those live on Care Vault, which is a separate product with its own account and its own privacy notice. The Care World privacy notice lists every activity, its lawful basis, who receives it and how long each thing is kept.
